These are my favourite lip products for summer and I always just end up choosing to wear one of these. My current favourite however which isn't photographed is MAC's Hue, which I wear every single day. However the lipsticks I have been loving the most out of these are the Kate Moss lipsticks as I think they're the best high street / drugstore lipsticks you can find. And also the L'oreal Caresse, which I prefer over the Revlon Lip Butters as they don't have as much shimmer/chunks of glitter.

Here are my favourite summer lip shades! Hope you like them!

Maybelline The Falsies Mascara Review!

In my opinion, finding a good cheap mascara is a bit of a challenge, sometimes you pick up one that looks like it's going to be good and is just really thin and doesn't give you the look that you were looking for.
I like having thick, long lashes so I like mascara that adds both length and volume.
I picked this up when it first came out so it was on offer, so I'm not sure how much it is now but I got it for around £5 from Superdrug.

As for the packaging, I really like it. I love quite a few of the Maybelling mascaras and the packaging is always bright and colourful and even though they're quote large, I like it.

As for the wand, it's curved and quite large, which I like.

I really like the outcome, it adds great length and although the lashes clump a little bit, I really like the way it looks. I love the way that it adds both volume and length. In the picture, I only used one coat, so when you add another coat, it adds even more volume and makes the lashes really black, this would be a look I would do if I wanted the lashes to have that little bit extra, mph.
Overall, I really love this product, it doesn't appear to smudge or melt off my lashes, it's not waterproof but no doubt they will have a waterproof version either out now or coming out. Considering it's not overally expensive, I think it's really great. I've been using it every day!

Current favourite brushes!

Please excuse the fact that these brushes are dirty, I use them every single day and due to the fact that I'm so busy all the time, I didn't have time.

Anyway, talking about face brushes, these are the best brushes I've used in a very long time, and they're super affordable. The individual brushes rang from 10-13 I think, but I got them in Boots when everything was 3 for 2! To really I got one brush free!
The others I got in a set of 4, which consisted of a buffing brush, contour brush, which I love love love! These two brushes in particular are amazing and I cannot say enough good things about them.

Overall, I think these RealTechniques brushes are pretty good, relatively cheap and totally worth investing in if you don't want to make a massive splurge on MAC brushes.

E.L.F Haul & Mini Review!

I bought a couple of things from E.l.f (eyeslipsface) and decided that when they came I would do a small haul as I only bought 5 things, only 3 of which are makeup products. I think when you find the right stuff on e.l.f, they're amazing products that are extremely affordable!
All of these products are from the studio line.

The first thing that caught my eye when browsing the website was this bronzer. It's a matte bronzer, which I love because I'm personally not a fan of shimmery bronzers because I use them mainly to contour. I have used this product every single day since I got it and I've totally fell in love with it. I think this will replace my Sleek Contour Kit for bronzer. I just swirl my brush in all the colours, mainly in the bottom two as I feel that gives the best colour. I wouldn't use the white as a highlight, mainly because it's matte and I feel highlights are the ones that should have that little bit of shimmer. I love this, if you're wanting to purchase anything from E.l.f, I would definitely recommend this! It's only £3.50 too!

The next thing I decided to look at was their blush and I have been looking for the perfect coral blush colour. This is it! I love their packaging, it reminds me of a cheaper version of the Nars packaging. The colour blush I got was Candid Coral and is £3.50. I love this blush! I've used it every day since I got it and I'm sure its my new favourite blush! I did a swatch but you can't really tell, it's such a beautiful shimmery colour! Perfect for summer.

The last thing I got was the Studio Matte Lip Colour in Natural and I think it's a 'your lips but better' colour. I love it and I've also been using this every day! It's also only £3.50!

I also got two brushes but I didn't include them because they were dirty and in all honesty I wasn't that impressed by them. I recently bought the RealTechniques brushes and the E.l.f ones just don't compare to those!

Spending money issues!

As I'm feeling sorry for myself for doing so much revision I keep buying things when I do get the change to venture out my house, but seemingly it doesn't even take that. I just spent £18 on E.l.f, but I haven't ordered anything off their website for a very long time. From what I've heard the quality of their products has gotten a lot better so I'm really excited for that! I got a bronzer, blush, matte lip colour and two brushes. I would have spent £18 on one blush at MAC so I can't really complain! I'll be doing a haul once they've arrived but I doubt I'll be buying anything other than these things for a long time! I have saving that needs to be done.

Makeup Haul!

I haven't blogged in a while and although I have bought other stuff it was a while ago so as soon as I got home from shopping this morning I took photos and decided to show you what I bought. I have barely spent any money this month and therefore had a little put aside for buying some new makeup that I wanted and needed for a while.
First of all I went to MAC:

I repurchased my favourite foundation, I got the Pro Longwear Foundation in colour NC15 (yes I'm very pale) which is what is above. It looks darker on the photo but that's due to lighting. I love this foundation, it doesn't make me oily and it also does what it say on the bottle. It's very longwearing and is the only foundation that doesn't slide off my face as the day goes on.

I have been looking for a good concealer for a long time now and I cannot find any at the "drugstore" that actually cover my under eye circles and spots etc. I also have hyper-pigmentation on my cheeks, which means basically they go very red and it makes my skin and blush looks awful. I wanted something that was creamy and thick enough to cover that without looking cakey. I've never tried any MAC concealer before so I thought I would give it a try and see if it's worth the money.

Lastly from MAC, I got two blushes from the Reel Sexy collection. I couldn't decide which one to get so I did the sensible thing and got both! I love love love the one on the right which is called Magenta (original naming there) but I love it. I'm obviously not going to apply it like it is in the pan, I'll just use a very light hand and it comes out a stunning colour. The other one is a pale pink with slight blue/lilac undertones and it's lovely! It's a lot more natural and I think I will get a lot of wear out of this.

Next I went to Superdrug and naturally took advantage of their 3 for 2 deals:

I picked up these two Rimmel lipsticks from the Kate Moss Collection. I love them, I've been wanting a really bright pink lipstick for ages and this was a much cheaper alternative from buying one from MAC. I love these colours, the one on the left is a lot more coral in person and looks lovely on. Those were £5.19 each.

Next in Superdrug, as I was looking for a third item to get I came across Sleek's new palette. I love all the Sleek eyeshadows and already have one of them. I love matte eyeshadow so when I saw this for such a bargin £6.99 I knew I had to get it before they sold out. I love all the colours and they have such amazing pigmentation! Sleek is a really good drugstore makeup brand. I mainly went into Superdrug to look for their blush palette but they still don't have it in store in my 2 nearest stores!!

It's quote hard to find a good matte palette so when I noticed that they had come out with one I was so happy. I love all the colours and I know I will get a lot of use out of it!

Lastly, on my way back to the car I went through Debenhams and noticed the Urban Decay 24/7 pencils. I'e been looking for a good brown eyeliner and so decided to invest. I'm sick of using black eyeliner as it makes my eyes look extremely small and decided to try this brand over MAC. I'll let you know what I think.

I'll probably end up doing reviews/telling you what I think, of these products once I've been using them for a while :)
